I almost fainted today!

Ok.  This blog today is not about our down syndrome son.  It's about me!  I had such a shock!  I mean I was close to fainting!  It's a wonder I didn't have to go to the hospital!   Here's what happened.  I was happily in the kitchen cooking soup.  My husband came into the kitchen, looked me in the eye.  I wondered what was going on in his head.  Did he think I looked good today?  Did he want to tell me something?  Was he going to tell me he was going to buy a new car??? Then he picked his plate up and wait for it......put it in the dishwasher!!!!!   I feel to my knees, lightheaded.  Put my head between my knees so I wouldn't faint.  I managed to squeak in wonder, "I didn't know you knew how to do that".  His parting word was" I do it a lot, you are just in bed in the morning and don't see it" (which isn't true, his plate is always on the counter when I get up).  Now that I think about it, there was one day about 5 years ago that he opened the dishwasher and put something in it!  So I guess he's right again! ugh!
